I was on the way to vegas and had the following in my car: 2 people (170pounds each) 1 subwoofer (60-70 pounds?) 2 bags, misc. items (maybe 20-30 pounds each) My friend was driving a '99 Volvo V70R turbo He beat me from 70-120 by a few car lengths. I'd say I have maybe 140hp, and he has 260. This doesn't seem like a big advantage, especially since his car weighs 1000 pounds more off the line. The torque is where the difference is made. His car has 165 or so ft-lbs of torque, where mine, stock, has less than 200. The intake and exhaust I have on my car are not going to make a big difference at all. Once again, the torque made the difference, especially since we were already traveling at about 70mph. Needless to say I'm buying a TT 300ZX or Supra next month and ditching my NA.
